This weekend we escaped to the mountains with our friends Shannon and Kole to their condo in Keystone. It was a perfect weekend to getaway - we missed the snow storm and cold here at home, and instead enjoyed 60 degree Fall weather up in the Beautiful Mountains! The trees were still changing colors and the sun was shining! We basically just laid around the condo all weekend and relaxed - just what we all needed! We did however get out for a little bit to play in the leaves, go swimming and take a walk down to the river - the rest the time we ate, watched movies and slept!
Probably the most eventful thing that happened was a Bear Cub was stuck in a tree right next to our Condo - it was crazy - and then when the bear cub finally got down from the tree he walked right past our condo! Ashtyn was so amazed by this bear she has not stopped talking about it she keeps saying "Tree grrrr up" I think that means, "I saw a bear up in the tree growling!" Definitely the highlight of her trip to the mountains.
Like always we had a great time at the condo enjoying time with our good friends. I am sure this trip will become a tradition with our families - it will be so fun to see our families grow and make a ton of fun memories with The Harms.
