Aquarium Outting

Another summer outing we took while Matt was home was a trip to the Denver Aquarium. We thought Ashtyn would love this since her favorite movie is Nemo and she would get to see REAL fish and sharks up close! We went along with Ariana, Robbie, Sandy and Emily!

Ashtyn was very interested in all the fish, but after the first few exhibits she wanted to know where the hippo and tigers were! I think she thought it was going to be like the Zoo - thankfully they had tigers there - but she wasn't as impressed with them as she was at the Zoo!

Robbie seemed to have fun riding around - Not sure if he understood where he was, but he seemed entertained - Next year might be a different story!

BRUCE! Ashtyn was most fascinated by the sharks! She kept calling them Bruce - since that is the name of the shark on Nemo!

Again, we had to enjoy some Dip-N-Dot ice cream!

The Aquarium was a little disappointing in how short the exhibit is - and somewhat boring after the first couple tanks - once you've seen one fish you've seen them all! I would say the Zoo's exhibit is just as good and not nearly as expensive! But we enjoyed our day hanging out with family as always!
