Last weekend we had a very low key weekend - after a drama filled week and being on the go since June it was a nice change. We mostly laid around house and played in the yard, but on Saturday we did visit the Annual Peach Fest in Lafayette. It was very HOT and they were sold out of peaches by the time we got there at 1 - so needless to say I was a little annoyed, but the kids enjoyed themselves. We played on jumping castles...
did some gymnastics...
...and rode a pony! This was Ashtyn's dream com true. Lately she has been watching this TV show called "Horse Land" and loves it. So getting to ride on a real "horse" made her day. She looked like a natural - that's for sure...
After the pony ride we were so HOT so we grabbed some snow cones, found some shade and relaxed for a bit...
NOTE: Next year visit the Peach Fest in the early morning.
Maybe then I will actually get some peaches...
