Moving Day!

Ashtyn loves her play house that we have outside in the backyard, and she doesn't understand that with it getting cold that we can't let her play outside all the time. So with the weather nice this past weekend, Matt decided to clean the house so we could move into the basement and she could enjoy playing with it all winter long....

So Friday afternoon, Matt took the house apart, cleaned it and then laid all the pieces around the deck so they could dry. Well, on Saturday morning Ashtyn does her normal routine - wakes up, has her milk and breakfast, watches "Pooh" and then as always checks outside to see if she can play. Well much to her surprise when she moved the curtain to look out the window she saw her beautiful house in pieces. Needless to say - she got VERY upset! She started crying and saying "huse", "huse" with her arms up in the air! and just couldn't understand why someone would destroy her house! So Matt explained to her that he would fix it - so all morning before nap she walked around with big alligator tears in her eyes and a worried little face saying "Da Fix it", "Da Fix it" - Oh it broke our hearts, but it was kinda hilarious at the same time! Who would have know she would get so upset - you never think about these things as an adult.

The moving day was successful though - by Saturday afternoon her house was back together in it's new place - she now can enjoy her house all winter long!
