Build-a-Bear

We did our traditional "Valentines Day" outing with Nana and Papa.  A trip to Build-a-Bear and out to dinner at Carrabas.  Ashtyn lives for her trips to Build-A-Bear and could hardly contain herself all day waiting for her to finally get there and pick out a bear.

She's had her eye set on the Red Hello Kitty for awhile now, and as soon as she got there she ran right over to get one, ready to stuff it full of LOVE!

 This was the first time Eli had any interest in the whole experience.  He actually picked out his own...a puppy!  Another word he is great at saying!  He held on to it and kept saying

 "puppy...happy puppy...puppy"

He picked out his own heart and watched it get stuffed...

 Eli was loving the whole experience until he went to wash the puppy and the sound "scared" him, he started crying, still holding his puppy - but definitely was over the whole Build-A-Bear thing.

 Ashtyn of course LOVED washing and fluffing her new Red Hello Kitty...

 When it was time to pay we had to take the puppy from Eli and this was his reaction...

 he LOVES his puppy from Nana and Papa...

Nana completely spoiled Ashtyn...not only did she get the Red Hello Kitty she also got a bed for her to sleep in.  This was Ashtyn leaving the store...

 Do I have a shopaholic or what?

That picture made my mom and me laugh and feel so proud..she is following in our footsteps...be it good or bad, it still made us smile!

Thank you Nana and Papa - your grandbabies LOVE their trips to Build-A-Bear and both of them went to bed that night with their Red Hello Kitty and Puppy in hand!
