On Saturday we took Ashtyn to the Touch-A-Truck in Louisville! Ashtyn didn't really know what to think about all the big trucks - there were fire trucks, tow trucks, buses, tractors and construction trucks...Her most favorite was the school bus - she loves school buses and the fact that she finally got to step foot in one made her day!
She even got to sit in the driver seat! We had to sing a little round of the "Wheels on the Bus"!
I think Matt's favorite part was seeing the helicopter land! We had to make sure we got there in time to see this...I don't think boys ever grow up!
The tires on this tractor were HUGE! They even made Matt look little...
Ashtyn was a little disappointed to not see any Police Cars there, but because we know some people at the department, we pulled some strings and Ashtyn got to tour a police car all by herself - she loved every minute of it - especially turning on the sirens and lights!
She had to make sure the lights were working!
It's amazing how fascinated kids are with events like these! Now Ashtyn is constantly naming the trucks she sees when we are in the car - at least it was a great learning experience!
